My HeRo

My little brother Cameron turned 18 yesterday. I can't believe he's all grown up. I'm so proud of him and think he's the greatest...even though he's loud and obnoxious... he really has the most tender heart underneath it all... and a three point fade away shot to die for! I love you Bubba Ann.

My Little Brother

My little brother the way I remember him!

Yeah, fatty that's you!

I thought a picture of us drawing on your face with permanent marker was better than one of you with girl clothes, since this is the internet and all..haha..if you could only see how hard I am laughing.

Little Stud

A cumber-bun and knickers....sexy!

We LoVe oUr OmA!

James turns 1 on the 21st of this month...I can't believe it! Oma's (my paternal grandma) package came on Thursday for the little man. He had fun learning how to open presents. He got clothes and winter parka and "His Oma Quilt"! Kaylie didn't get left out with a couple surprises just for her. Thanks Oma we love you.

Quilting

When I can find the time and the extra money I love to quilt. I have finished the top of the this fun Halloween quilt. I have to put it away this week while we move but I hope to have it done to enjoy the whole month of October!

Home Sweet Dorm

We are finally moving to our own place. The condo we were in the process of buying (the fire) just isn't getting fixed so we are backing out of the contract. We actually have been on the waiting list for student housing since March...so that's where we are off to. It is the Shoreline Ridge complex. There isn't much about them online...heck we haven't even been in one yet. For anyone who want's to see more you can go to www.housing.utah.edu/shoreline.html It is a small 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath apartment. We are moving sometime next week...more to come next week!

Silver Lake

For the Brown Family Labor Day outing we all went up to Brighton ski resort and went a a stroll around silver lake. It wasn't a hike it was mostly flat, had a boardwalk around much of the way and only took about 30 minutes. We packed a picnic and went with Ryan's siblings along with Grandma Jo. It was a quick trip to finish our wild and crazy summer.

Sunday Afternoons

My family seemed to be having such an enjoyable afternoon I thought I would share it with our friends and family. Dad and James took a short nap after visiting with Nakita, Eric's dog and Kaylie was making brownies with Grandma Jo, while I just relaxed.

Cheer Camp Video

Hey everybody my sister-in-law Melanie helped me learn how to post videos! Here is the cheer video I promised. Keep in mind my videos are from my point and shoot camera so the quality is not the greatest. Kaylie is in the center of the video screen.

Preschool

Kaylie Started preschool this week. She goes twice a week, Tuesday and Thursday, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. She is attending Challegner School at the Salt Lake City Campus. Her Teacher is Ms. Michelle. She had a great first week of school and took her Little Mermaid Polly Pocket for a first show and tell on Thursday. On the side bar I have added a link for Challenger school where you can learn more about where she is attending as well as her preschool curriculum.
