First, I picked Persuasion, by Jane Austen. One of my most favorite Austen Novels.

Second, I did fruit Kabobs for refreshments. I saw the most mouth watering ones on Kimberly's blog and have been looking for an excuse to make some up. Mine pale in comparison to how hers looked but I hope she doctored her pictures and was fine to accept the consolation that my fruit did taste good. The fruit dip I did turned out way yummy and was ridiculously easy to make.
Third, James woke up a bit before everyone left. I think he was just a bit stressed from the day. He just sat and cuddled with me. After everyone left he ate a fruit Kabob, and then cuddled with me a bit more and then went back to bed.
I know there were ladies who read the book and I would love to here from you!

Did you have a good turnout?? Sorry I wasn't there. I didn't stop to think about the fact that Jared wasn't home that night. So, those kabobs look yummy! I'm sorry I missed out!
I actually have not finished the book, so I will also look forward to hear what others have to say about it.
Can you pretty please post your recipe for that dip? I NEED it!! The book left me yearning for a little more Jane Austen so I reserved two DVD versions of Persuasion that I haven't seen...
Oh, I see someone else has asked you to tell the recipe for the fruit dip....Please, your picture looked so good to bad I don't live by you I would have came to your book club. We might be up around that area in July it depends on Deans work. We love you guys
