High School Musical Party

We had a great time yesterday with Kaylie's birthday party. As the kids showed up they walked in a red carpet and a got their picture taken by the red curtain stage.
The kids then decorated their own megaphone while we waited for everyone to show up.

We then went out back to play a few games. Our first game was a get ready for school relay race. We had 2 teams, the basketball team and the cheerleader team.

Ryan and I got a kick out of watching the kids pack and unpack the backs and run.
The Cheerleader team did end up winning!!!

Our next game was a basketball shootout. Each child got a turn to shoot the ball for about 15 seconds, and make as many shots as they could.

The other children cheered on the the child shooting the ball. At the end they each received a medal to wear around their neck.

We then came in and did a version of Karaoke.
Kaylie & Tyler did the first number and it was so cute.

We then did a group number that everyone loved.

Some of the other girls then did a "Sharpay" number which was really cute.
We didn't get any pictures of the last game in which the kids went back out and looked for a candy filled cell phone.

It was then time to sing to the Mouse!

The kids were so excited to the awesome cake. I mean come on have you ever seen anything like it??? ...I think not

Kaylie then opened presents and received many great things.
She has some thoughtful friends.

James was excited to give Kaylie his present.

And what would a High School Musical Party be without Troy Bolton?

The day was super fun and exhausting. Thank you to everyone who participated in making Kaylie's special day filled with MAGIC!!!
