Our conference wall was a hit! Both Kaylie and James enjoyed finding the corresponding picture of each apostle, then listening intently long enough to figure out what they were speaking about, and then finding a picture on the door that tied to speaker's topic.
A few times while Kaylie was coloring or quietly busy with something she actually said, "He just talked about ...(another topic than one she already matched on the door)... do you think I should change it?"
Another activity that we did with Kaylie was trying to learn the apostles names with their faces. I placed each picture in order on the wall and then she had a large wordstrip with each of the names. She loved this game. I went to take down the wall on Monday and she said, "Wait mom can't we do it a couple more times." So I did it with her and she blew me away when she had actually memorized all fifteen names with their faces! Yep, I am prideful. She is an amazing girl.
