Kaylie turns 6

Another year older and wiser too
she is growing so fast I don't know what to do!

Kaylie's birthday was on Thursday. She took some pop star cupcakes made by her mother who does NOT bake. We decorated them with white frosting and rainbow colored, star shaped sprinkles. You would think that me baking would be a good reason to take a photo, but I didn't...dang.

That night we reserved the "party room" at Red Robin and had dinner with Grandma Jo and Eric. Kaylie has been waiting for her sixth birthday since just before her 4th birthday. That's a weird thing for a 4 year old to wish for you might say. Well it is but there is logic behind it. Her uncle Eric left on his mission to Greece just weeks before she turned 4. She has talked about and reminded him that he would be home in time for her 6th birthday, which came faster than I could have imagined.

Anyway we had a yummy dinner. Kaylie opened her gifts from Grandma and Mom & Dad and her brother and sister. She opened gifts from Oma and Maja & Faja earlier in the week.

We weren't expert picture takers (we forgot the camera) so the iphone and dim lighting is all we got.

Look at that chocolate yumminess! It was massive. It took the whole family to eat it.
