She got one of her hairs cut!

Kaylie has been asking to get her hair cut here and there for a while. I told her after swimming lessons we would talk. Today I finally got tired of tangly knots, palm fulls of shampoo and conditioner, and all the fuss of long hair. So when I asked her if she wanted to go her hair cut, She jumped up and said REALLY? Right now!

She wanted it short. We discussed a style. When I realized how much hair there would be I told her about Locks of Love. I told her that children who have cancer sometimes lose all their hair and that they can get wigs to wear to help them feel happy! Knowing that cancer means you can die, because she lossed her papa to cancer and always wanting to help others she thought it was a good idea. (After a short misunderstanding that she wasn't going to have to shave her head to give the children all her hair... hilarious.)

She had 10"... just enough to donate.
