I don't think I have had the jitters as bad as I did today since state cheer competitions in high school! The best part was I was shaking worse after we opened the envelope. There is definitely nothing like match day. The anticipation of that many people, all wanting the same thing to happen with each student having a particular outcome in mind. When the envelopes were passed out all the anticipation exploded. I however was not a part of that because the dang webcam was not working. Ryan insisted we wait and try one more time. We finally got Ron JoAnn on the web cam.... (in their Gator gear) and some of my family on the speakerphone, and then was finally given the go ahead to open the envelope! There isn't much on the paper that you get, it's pretty much: Congratulations you matched and then the program information. It took way longer than necessary for it to process that the paper said U Florida on it. I honestly couldn't believe it had really happened.
It has been one long ride to this point with lots of ups and downs, but such is life. The next chapter will definitely be an adventure!
