We had a laid back really fun 4th of July. The night before we did some small fireworks in the back yard. The men then built a make shift fire pit that my dad says he plans to make more permanent. We made smores and roasted marshmallows. Kaylie then slept in the tent with Hillary, Shelby (cousin), and Logan. Kaylie had tons of fun with that, and actually made it all night in the tent!
The night of the actual fourth we had a yummy BBQ and went to the church building that is near the lake where the fireworks are shot off. This has been a tradition in our family since I can remember. When the Loveland building was the only building in the city or even encompassing a few cities for that matter, it was a fun gathering for the scattered saints to get together. Now 2o some years later Loveland has 2 buildings and there are many others in the surrounding towns and cities. It still is a time where "the old timers" can find one another and catch up. Sadly, as I am going through my quarter life crisis, I recognize fewer and fewer people as new families largely outnumber familiar faces. The evening was still great with my family together and the Loveland Fire Dept. did one heck of an amazing show.

I'm glad your still alive. I was wondering if something happened. It looks like you had a great fourth. It's always fun to do that kind of stuff with family. :0)
I will have you know I did wonder if something bad happened. I'm glad your having such a good summer. 4th of July sounded like fun. I came from a small town, and there is nothing quiet like it. We were up in your neck of the woods the 4th. We were going to call you, but you wouldn't have been there anyway. Plus, we never get to choose what we do on our vacation it's pretty much planned for us. Oh well we had fun!!
