Happy Valentine's Day!

So without going into a whole lot of detail my day was really hectic, the blowing snow didn't make my morning go any smoother, and James has a new antibiotic. That being said I did get some amazing chocolates and pretty flowers. When it comes to Valentine's (or any other holiday) I really enjoy a simple or practical gift. Flowers make a room feel happy and chocolate doesn't need an explanation in my book. Ryan received an adapted version of The Velveteen Rabbit to read to the kids. Kaylie enjoyed her first real Valentine Party. The kids received enough sugar and fun from friends and family to last a while.

Highlights of my Valentine's Day:

1. Kaylie repeatedly came up to me with a smile, a hug and a kiss and said, "Happy Valentine's Day Mom"!

2. James' sticky chocolate smile!
