So it is still really cloudy and and the air is disgusting. We made the best of a bad situation though and went to Sesame Street's Body exhibit at the Discovery Children's Museum downtown. We had such a fun time. Being a product of a good mom, Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, and Sesame Street I suppose I have a soft spot in my heart. It's kind of like Disneyland, you feel like a kid again.
The exhibit teaches kids all about our bodies, how they work and why. There is so much to do with something to stimulate all of your senses. All of the beloved Sesame Street characters have a lesson to teach. Kaylie was most excited about Elmo's World and seeing Dorothy (Elmo's pet fish).

James seemed to enjoy taking it all in but was very excited to have found Big Bird. (The picture I got doesn't capture this happiness at all!)

One of the biggest hits of the visit was... now this is not for the faint of heart... the poo machine. What you don't see is two other machines, one for chewing, one for digesting, and finally the poo machine (complete with with sound effects). I have to say it helped lighten the mood on another icky February day.
